What creativity coaching packages do you offer? What do they cost? Where can I find out more about them?
I am currently offering:
One creativity coaching package (Create!) (8 sessions, 60 minute sessions)
Bundle Pack (3 sessions, 90 minutes sessions)
Individual sessions (90 minutes)
While I am getting certification hours, the investment in the packaged program is $125 (total for all 8 sessions), the Bundle Pack is $70, and the Individual sessions are $25. (The Bundle Pack is for clients who want to continue with coaching after they complete the 8 session package.)
During our complimentary meet and greet intro session, we can talk about which option feels right for you. To find out more about the creative coaching package, please visit Create.
What can I expect from working with you?
I help clients navigate the creative process so they can make the art that is fulfilling and authentic to them, and live the creative life they desire.
Folks who create art (as a hobby or professionally) often experience anxieties, doubts, and worries that can sometimes stymie the creative process. Through our work together, we will identify these types of thoughts that are keeping you from being your most authentically creative self. We will then explore new ways of thinking that feel better and resonate more deeply with you. This type of thought inquiry often ignites a client’s creativity. Simultaneously, we will take a peek into what else is going on in your life and examine how external situations might be impacting your work. We will look at how you currently create your art, and find new ways to add inspiration and motivation. We will tap into your network of support, and create a plan for how to make it active, vibrant, and most importantly, work for you. We will examine your creative goals and desired feeling states. I will also provide you with some grounding and visualization tools, as well as tools to help you look for guidance from within.
For creative coaching, I draw upon life coaching tools, the neuroscience of creativity, and the fields of creativity studies and positive psychology.
Who are your creative coaching clients?
Women of all ages who have a yearning to create – as a hobby or professionally. They are writers, bloggers, photographers, musicians, and comedians; they paint, decorate, sculpt, knit, crochet, sew, dance, cook, bake, etc. They may have been formally trained or never trained; they may be in the process of drafting their first blog or they may already be a bestselling author; they may have never shared their art with the world or they may have had it on display it for many years. The shared quality among all of these extraordinary and passionate women is that they have a desire to create and ignite their creative juices!
Do you only work with women?
No, I am happy to work with people of all genders and sexes. I primarily work with women though, as I have dedicated my education and career to working on what are generally thought of as women’s issues.
(I was a Women’s Studies major in graduate school, and minor in college, where I focused on women’s health and sexuality and campus sexual assault and teen dating violence. I went on to teach Women’s Studies at the undergraduate level, and then went to work at the Office on Violence Against Women at the U.S. Department of Justice for almost 7 years.)
Will we meet in person or over the phone?
All of our coaching will be over the phone. As long as you have access to a phone or computer, we are good to go.
What can I expect during the complimentary meet and greet/intro session?
During this 30-minute call, I will ask you what brought you to me, and I will tell you more about the current offerings and what you can expect of our sessions. I will answer any questions you may have. I encourage you to talk to a few different creative coaches you think you might want to work with - coaches are like slippers: you want a comfortable fit.
